I am registered as a tutor for the International Register of Massage Therapists, here are details of the courses I run

My courses will have no more than 6 people to a group.  I teach at my home, in a relaxed friendly atmosphere where you will be able to gain confidence in your learning, and gain great affinity with the other students.

Beginners Course in Reflexology:

This course runs 2 hrs for 10 weeks.  It allows people to build a small routine so they can practice on friends and family.  People learn the basics of how body systems work and health related topics in relation to Reflexology.  They explore holistic means to health management. 

Cost: £60   

Diploma in Clinical Reflexology :

This course will allow you to work professionally and obtain professional insurance. You will also be invited to register with a professional body as an associate member, full membership is granted when you have completed more than one course.  The course takes around 9 months to complete. It consists of 12 modules, in between you will be asked to complete case studies, at the end of the course these must add up to 80 hours.

Cost £600, discounted to £400 if you have attended the Beginners Reflexology Course

The course deals with both theory and practical techniques so that you can carry out Reflexology treatments safely and effectively.

Entry Requirements:

You must have or be working towards a certificate in Anatomy and Physiology, this must be completed before the exam can be taken.  If you do not have one, contact me and we can get you started on the IRMT's certificate which is a home study course for £250

Examination:

The examination board: International Register of Massage Therapists

There is a practical exam and a theory exam, all case studies and any other work will be assessed.
